Hail-Storm Roofing Leads Matched to Fresh Permit Activity Across Texas

txhailleads finds the roofing leads other lead lists miss: properties that sit inside a confirmed hail swath but have no re-roof permit on file yet. That gap — storm-hit, still unserviced — is the lead.

Every lead is a parcel inside a verified hail swath with no roof permit filed since the storm. We check the permit record, we do not estimate roof age.

Live Coverage by County

How It Works

1. Storm detection. We track NOAA Storm Events, SPC storm reports, and MRMS MESH radar-derived hail-size swath polygons across Texas — the same source data severe-weather forecasters use.
2. Permit cross-reference. Every property inside a hail swath is checked against building permit records for a matching re-roof or roofing permit.
3. Lead surfaced. Properties with storm exposure and no re-roof permit on file are the leads: homeowners who got hit and haven't had the roof addressed — the opportunity is still open.

This is the differentiator a static hail-swath map can't give you: it's not just "where did it hail," it's "which of those roofs are still unclaimed."

Coverage

Statewide Texas coverage, built on PermitLookup's underlying property-intelligence platform — 1.5B+ property and permit records across 3,143 U.S. jurisdictions in all 50 states plus Canada. Metro-specific views are available for the state's largest roofing markets.

Who It's For

Roofing contractors, public adjusters, and restoration companies working storm markets in Texas who want to prioritize outreach toward homes that have real storm exposure and haven't already had the work done by a competitor.
